We are pleased to present our breakfast menu, which has earned us a considerable reputation and awards for the quality of the ingredients and the care and attention with which it is cooked and presented.
Breakfast at the Old Vicarage is served between 8.30 and 9.30. Only the few items shown in the pre-order section of the menu need to be ordered the night before.

We have a choice of cereals including a couple of gluten-free varieties.

Home-made Fruit and Nut Granola.

Home-made Yoghurt.

Omega Seed Mix, Strawberry Trail Mix.

Home-made seasonal Fresh Fruit Salad or Compote.

Whole Fresh seasonal Fruit.

Orange Juice, Apple Juice and Cranberry Juice.

Cooked Breakfast Selection

All our ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible.

Our eggs are from Ding Dong Farm's own free-range hens.

Our sausages and hogs pudding (white pudding made from pork, herbs and spices) are from St. Ives Food Company using locally reared pork made to their own speciality recipe.

Our fish is from local St. Ives fishmonger Matthew Stevens, who have been established since 1960 and sell only the finest quality fresh fish from sustainable stocks.

All our breakfast items are freshly prepared and cooked in our Aga.

Most items are cooked to order so please accept our apologies if there is a slight delay.

Full Cornish Breakfast

Bacon, Eggs (fried, poached or scrambled), Sausage, Hogs Pudding, Aga roasted Tomato, Sauté Mushrooms

Eggs, as you like them

Fresh Free Range Farm Eggs cooked to your liking, Boiled, Fried, Poached or Scrambled, served with Hot Buttered Toast

On Toast

Hot Buttered Toast with Beans, Tomatoes or Mushrooms

Choice of Omelettes

Bacon, Mushroom or Cheese or any combination

Traditional English Muffins

Any combination of Bacon, Sausage and Egg in Toasted Buttered English Muffins

Smoked Salmon with Scrambled Eggs on Toasted English Muffins or with Hot Buttered Toast

All breakfast items are served with Wholemeal or White Split-tin Toast from our local Bakery 'Oven Door'.

Lunch

We offer a broad selection of picnic lunches at reasonable prices, all freshly made. Please order the night before. Guests are welcome to consume these lunches on the premises and make use of our bar facilities should they wish.

Evening Meal

We no longer serve evening meals as there are now so many quality establishments in St. Ives serving food. We would be pleased to suggest somewhere to suit any taste and budget.
